More blocks

Well more fixing blocks bought. These are to fit a back panel above the PSU ans the hdds will be mounted on there freeing up the area for the usbs and sound out puts.

Gettin there

Just the puzzle of putting it together continues. Still need to plan the coin slot hole and mount the hdd. The power it ip with usb mouse nd keybord to make aure it boots. The do the button connections. Not bad for 2 days work.

The build so far

Well me and the daughter started on the build. This is it so far. We still have to cut the coin slot out which might be done layer on today. Also need to paint it black but might just spray the CP first for quickness to get the buttons in an play tonight.

Just got to paint kitchen first as wife says.

Chop chop

Well good job my old man had a 29mm cutter so the control panel is complete. Next need to look for some joining blocks to pot it together and cut out the coin slot area on the side. An after that a paint job.

The build is nearly here

Well last night the cab arrived and all looks good so far. Just need to get a wood drill bit to cut the holes and also plan the coin slot as I think it will only fit the mechanism not the door because of the size.

Will also have to look into what to use to join it together as I don't think block brackets will work. Maybe some square dowel and no nails to make it solid along with a few screws in as well for that extra support.

Photos will he up soon along with the costs so far. Also need to make price list of what's left to get like a New HDD and usb connectors.

Coming close

Well this week should be the arrival if my bartop cab kit. Then its build planning and moving the machine into it and control. Everythibg seems setup except the winuae and need to check mame in hs as I'm using the merged set.
